What is Hip Bursitis?
Hip bursitis (also called Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome), happens when the small cushioning sacs in your hip become inflamed and the surrounding tendons get irritated. These sacs, called bursae, help your muscles and bones move smoothly without rubbing. It usually develops from overuse or strain, causing hip pain and discomfort around the outer hip or thigh.

How can we help?
Low level laser therapy uses infrared laser light painlessly to promote healing and tissue repair when everything else has failed and is at the centre of our holistic treatment approach.
Our Low Level Laser Therapy program is carefully structured and supervised by GP Dr Shikha Parmar. We start with a full assessment so your treatment plan is tailored to your health, lifestyle, and activity needs. We provide personalised advice and a rehab program to support your recovery.
Most people need around 12 sessions, with progress checked along the way. Your recovery is supported by gentle rehab and activity guidance. The program is time-limited, once therapy finishes, your body continues to heal naturally, helping you get back to moving with confidence and returning to normal activity.
